Buddy  AKA: King of "our" Castle  Just ask Him!

Buddy is 5 years old this year.  We got him when we first moved into our condo.  First he was very timid, now not so much.  He loves to be loved, however, on his terms.  He always lets us know when it is time for loving.  In fact he will pretty much force it on us if we try not to.  He is a good "guard cat" he will run to the door if he hears the slightest noise outside.  He loves to sit in the window sill and watch the happenings of the front lawn.  The 2 girls that live on the 3rd floor often come down to see him through the window.  Most of the time Buddy is left inside.  Occasionally he will escape to the outdoors.  When this happens he has to be watched very closely, he will explore and forget where he came from.

Aspen
Meet Aspen!  She is a yellow lab that I got for Paul last June.  I seen her outside of a King Soopers, and from the moment I seen her I knew she should be ours.   She was a Father's Day present from Buddy, Kokoa and I.  She is such an awesome dog.  She is always trying to please us.  She love to be loved.  When we go for walks she would prefer to hold her own leash, the neighbors don't always think that is a good idea.  In this picture she is hanging out on the patio.  Whenever we walk by and she is out there she stands up to look over the rails, even though she could see through them.  When it's bedtime, she sleeps in her kennel, she will always give us a kiss on the hand goodnight.  She refuses to do that any other time of the day.  Like she knows:)  We really do love her and we are glad she joined our family.
Kokoa
She is the first pet we had together.  We got her 5 years ago, she was just a little puppy.  She is just a little spoiled, if you can not tell.  She gets to sit on the couch.  We seen a very loving side of her just last week as we were out on a walk a little neighbor girl had fallen off her bike.  The little girl was crying, and Kokoa started to whine.  She whinnied until the little girls mom got to her side.  Very precious moment. I just know that she is going to love having a little family member to love and protect.
